The counties noted in blue are the five counties which comprise the 'Region' for the Mountain Lakes Regional EMS Council.
The six counties to the West (Hamilton, Fulton, Montgomery, Otsego, Schoharie and Delaware) comprise the Adirondack-Appalachin REMSCO [AAREMS], The remaining counties, in yellow, comprise REMO.
